Such and Such Entertainment company promised us a lot of press coverage, which we thought was a bad idea since we're technically aliens.

So far, he's only gotten us a few reviews on some blog below.

THE FANTASTIC WORLD OF SIR ERIC ROYAL

One of my favorite bands these days is GUY. I found out "Guy" is pronounced the way the French say it. That is, "Gheeeeeeeeeeeeeee".

Guy is essentially a krautrock band, except they're French, or Belgian, or something, and they have spent most of their career as a House Band in a Moroccan kasbah.

When I met "Guy", who goes by that name, he told me as much as he could about how he wound up in New Jersey:

Basically, all I could gather, was that they played the slums of Tangier for about 5 years with little success. Then sometime last year they started to become so popular in Morocco that their shows started selling out. They just kept selling out night after night until their long-time fans bailed on them. And by bailed on them, I mean snitched on them.

He started shouting in French at this point about some Moroccan dude named Guillaume, (not to be confused with Guy) who seems to have sold him down the river for some crime ring they ran or something. Don't quote me on that, though, because my 10th grade French is really rusty.

Anyway they had to flee, and in their haste they left one of their member's passports behind. So they're all sharing the passport of Guy.

Even I can't tell which one is the real Guy, but as soon I heard their tracks I was hooked on their krautrock-esque music. They have a few songs up on their myspace. (I know, everyone has a myspace!) www.myspace.com/guytangiers

You gotta come see them play on Tuesday, August 28th, 9:30 PM. They're playing at the Luna Lounge, which is right on Metropolitan Ave. in Brooklyn.
